The Void Nation
From the heart of Music City comes the uniquely talented duo, The Void Nation. The band consists of acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriters Greg Burroughs and Chris Parker. Burroughs grew up in the farmlands of Ohio and attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Nashville to pursue a singing career. Parker spent his childhood in Northern Arizona and later attended Brown University and The Conservatory for Recording Arts and Sciences in Nashville.
Soon after they both moved to Nashville, the two crossed paths at a local songwriters round where they instantly connected, both musically and personally. Shortly thereafter, they began writing and touring with other vocal groups and collaborating as individual artists.
All preconceived restrictions on country music aside, an intoxicating sound emerged while they were working on a demo late one night. The power and passion behind their sound is best described as “part country, part pop-rock, part electronic and part undefined.” Reset and Replay was the first track written by The Void Nation and has been received positively by the industry and fans alike.
